Make & Take: Stamped Self-Portraits

  • Austin Creative Reuse 2005 Wheless Lane Austin, TX, 78723 United States (map)

Come make a silly self-portrait using hand-carved stamps and be a part of a local art installation!

This is a FREE walk-up event happening in our Community Space (nestled within the Retail space- look for the orange couch!). Stop by anytime between 1pm and 4pm to get creative and meet local artist, Jieun Beth, who will be leading this project.

Jieun is hoping to connect with local creatives of all types for her upcoming project called “Community”, where participants make portraits using stamps that she carved herself! Jieun will snap a picture of the portraits created (yes, you can take your creations home!) and then reproduce the portraits into prints on fabrics, which will become a part of her upcoming installation project at the Austin Central Library in June.

Find out more about Jieun’s impressive work on Instagram and her website.
