Join Kelly (she/her) in our community space (next to the Office Section) to play with pretty paper and practice origami! This is a FREE drop-in event, so you can stop by anytime between 12-3PM to participate.

August’s Summer Sunday theme is Get Out the Vote, underscoring the importance of voting and civic engagement! To that end, we'll have a voter registration drive hosted by the League of Women Voters and a "Write Your Representative" station hosted by the Hispanic Austin Leadership Program. We'll also be joined by Austin City Councilor for District 4 and Mayor Pro Tem José “Chito” Vela, who will speak with constituents and deliver welcoming remarks.

Our fifth annual community reuse fashion show, Reuse on the Runway: A Night of Fashion, Cosplay & Drag, will feature dozens of local designers showcasing many unique looks! Every look that will be showcased in the event features innovative reuse materials or methods. Our aim is to encourage creatives to explore materials in a new way and show our community that fashion can be stunning and environmentally friendly.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Mueller's Branch Park Pavilion! Tickets will go on sale on August 1 - join us for a night of fun at Austin's most unique fashion show! Secure your spot now for an evening filled with creativity, sustainability, and style!

Doors open at 5:30PM and the show will start at 6:30PM.

In addition to the runway show, there will be fun, family-friendly activities that celebrate reuse and the creativity of our community.

There will be a full bar, as well as snacks sold at the bar.
