Kids Mini Camp: 2D Mixed-Media Art

Kick off 2025 with creativity and sustainability at Austin Creative Reuse! If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to be more eco-friendly, why not share that goal with your kids? Drop them off for a fun, hands-on art workshop where they'll learn how to transform repurposed materials into beautiful mixed-media art projects.

Led by our experienced instructor, Barb, children will experiment with different techniques like collage, drawing, and painting. They’ll also learn how reusing materials can spark creativity and help reduce waste.

This event is perfect for kids who are ready to start the year with a creative bang while embracing the eco-conscious values that are shaping 2025. At the end of the morning, they’ll leave with a collection of one-of-a-kind art pieces they can be proud of—and you can feel good knowing they’ve spent the day learning how to be part of the solution!

This workshop is appropriate for ages 5-12 only. Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their minor off with the workshop instructor.
