August Reuse & [Re]Think Winner: Rebecca C!

August stamped it’s way in and out of our lives in the blink of an eye! Along with it, wooden stamps typically used for scrapbooking projects were creatively reimagined in the most wonderful ways and submitted to our monthly contest. Our judges are excited to announce the winner of August’s Reuse & [Re]Think Challenge - Rebecca C!

Rebecca created a rubber stamp trivet constructed from rubber stamps held together with copper wire and hematite beads from her craft stash.

“The rubber stamps from the stamps means the trivet won’t slide on most surfaces.  After removing the top sticker, I sanded and stained each stamp, then drilled holes and wove the wire between the stamps and beads.”

Beautiful and practical! Congrats, Rebecca! We hope you enjoy your ACR gift card!

Check out all of the other amazing submissions for the month of August below, and start getting inspired for September’s Reuse & [Re]Think Challenge: Chopsticks!

Tanya M. - Wooden stamps wind chime. I was inspired by the sound the wood makes when it hits together.

Nichole B. + Client - The first project is a patriot collage style picture holder, and the second project is magnets.

Audrey R. - Cute backpack and craft tote charms.  The best part is that it’s still a useable rubber stamp!
