January Reuse & [Re]Think Contest: Tiles
Welcome to 2022! It's time for our January #reuseandrethink challenge: tiles! Did you know that tile is one of our most donated items from local businesses? In order to keep everything new and fresh, design studios end up cycling through their offerings quickly, rendering literal tons of tile samples obsolete. Many of those samples end up for sale in our center for as little as 10 cents each! What can you create with tiles? Your piece can be decorative or functional and can be made of any kind of tile - ceramic, glass, metal, etc.
ACR has all the materials and inspiration you need to let your imagination run wild. Send us a photo of your entry and you could win a $10 gift card to ACR!
Submission:
Once you’ve completed your creation, please provide at least 2 photos of your art piece, your contact info and a short description of materials used. Email your submission to rethink@austincreativereuse.org by the deadline.
Creations will be judged on incorporation of reuse materials, craftsmanship, and creativity.
One winner will be notified and receive a $10 gift card to ACR that can be redeemed either in center or our online store. They will also be announced on our social media.
