July Reuse & [Re]Think Contest: Hanging File Folders

With companies small and large closing their physical offices all over the city, where do all those office obsolete supplies go? Hopefully not to the landfill! πŸ˜…

For this month's Reuse & [Re]Think contest, we challenge you to reimagine what one of those items can be, by making something out of hanging file folders! Hanging file folders are a unique material since they have both metal and paper that can be used in your creation. Use them as cardstock, in a metal sculpture, or for anything else your mind comes up with!

Vernon, one of our volunteers, made the metal parts into a lampshade. It's a truly out-of-the-box use of hanging file folders, and it’s just what we’re looking for from our community.
