Arts & Craft Brews Night at Austin Beerworks: Recycled Bouquets
Join Austin Creative Reuse at Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley for a fun night of crafting and drinking! At this hands-on event, you'll create a beautiful, everlasting bouquet of flowers - all from reuse materials! Perfect for a gal pal or Valentines date.
All materials are provided, and each ticket includes a complimentary beer token, so you can sip and craft in style. Best of all, all supplies are rescued from the landfill by Austin Creative Reuse, a local non-profit dedicated to promoting sustainability through creative reuse. Seats are limited, so grab your tickets now and let’s craft, drink, and celebrate sustainability together!

Join us for this for this fun project and design your own wrapping paper! Creating your own wrapping paper can be such a delightful and personalized touch for any gift.
You can customize the design to suit any occasion or recipient, whether it's birthdays, holidays, or special events. Plus, it adds a personal touch to your gifts. Learn how to use various techniques such as printing, stamping, or hand-drawing to create unique patterns and designs!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only.
Workshop: Halloween Crafts
Join us for a spooktacular Halloween Crafts Workshop where creativity meets sustainability! In this fun-filled event, kids will transform recycled materials into eerie, enchanting Halloween decorations. From spooky lanterns to ghoulish garlands, our workshop will guide young crafters through the magic of creative reuse and upcycling. Let’s turn reusable crafts into treats and make this Halloween both festive and eco-friendly!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 6-10, but older kids and adults are also welcome!
Workshop: DIY Rakhis
Rakhi is a traditional Indian festival that celebrates the bond between a brother and a sister, but it can be celebrated by friends as well! It is based on the premise of love and protection. And what better way to celebrate this unique festival than with unique handmade one or a kind rakhis! In this workshop, the participants will make a bunch of rakhis (5-6) with different techniques ranging from modern to traditional. These rakhis can then be gifted to your close friends and family! The skills learnt in this workshop can be easily translated into making hair accessories, friendship bracelets and other things.
We will be using techniques of Macrame, bead knotting, making felt and sari fabric flowers for for making unique one of a kind Rakhis! Almost all the supplies will be reused stuff-small pieces of ribbon, felt , paper, vintage sari etc.

Workshop: Father's Day Cards
Some of the techniques used in this class will be heat embossing, splatter ink and stamping. Participants can also experiment on their own and see how tearing and sanding foiled paper creates an awesome effect! The instructor will have a wide range of materials available, but a majority will be hardware/tool or wildflower themed.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+ only (yes, adults, too!). Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the adult is there only to assist, they do not have to purchase a separate ticket for themselves. If the adult wishes to participate as well, they must have their own ticket.
Workshop: Star Wars Craft & Quiz Party (BYOB)
Rebellions are built on hope… and craft supplies! Join us to celebrate Star Wars month with fellow fans at this 21+ BYOB craft & quiz party. Show your strength in the force with challenging trivia and create one-of-a-kind Star Wars string art.
This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) Workshop. All participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Workshop: Paper Flower Bouquets
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create and assemble a flower bouquet from scratch! The instructor will guide you through every step as you create your customized bouquet and participants will gain lots of hands-on experience using a die-cutting machine. You can make a bouquet that is perfect to give as a gift or to decorate your own home.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Tea Bag Origami
In this workshop, participants will learn the art of Tea Bag Folding, which is very similar to origami, and made unique cards to gift for any occasion- a great option for Mother’s Day! Everyone will leave the class with 2 completed cards featuring Tea Bag Folding and supplies to make more at home.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Easter Card Making
We’re going to have a blast making 3 different cards, including a confetti-shaker card! The instructor will have tons of examples to help you get inspired and you can go wherever inspiration leads you.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Foiled Hearts, Cards & More!
This is a great workshop if you are just starting out or have been crafting for years. You’ll be playing with a product that you can use for any type of project- double sided foiled paper! It will hold its shape and is incredibly fun to work with. The instructor will teach several different techniques to make stand-out cards, including embossing!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.
Workshop: Artisan Paper Flowers
Have you ever hear the saying “I’ll love you until the last flower dies”? In this workshop, you will learn to make a forever flower arrangement and a picture portrait using paper!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 13+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Galentine's Day Craft & Quiz BYOB Party
Bring your pals (or make some new ones!) while we celebrate friendship with crafts, trivia, and laughter. Party activities will include:

Workshop: Origami Valentine
Create a unique and creative valentine card using origami! Participants will learn two ways to fold an origami heart, as well as how to fold an origami envelop you can fill with your own sweet message of love.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only.
Workshop: Keepsake Cookie Cutter Ornaments
Unleash your creativity this holiday season with our festive DIY Ornament Crafting Class! Join us for a fun and interactive 1.5-hour workshop where we'll transform old metal cookie cutters, pipe cleaners, and craft paper into delightful holiday ornaments paired with hand-crafted notes.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 4+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: No Sew Quilted Ornaments
Participants will learn how to make a quilted ornament from start to finish, including pinning, folding, and gluing. Each participant will leave with their very own, handmade, reuse inspired ornament and anyone not able to finish in time will leave with all of the necessary supplies needed to finish at home!
This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) Workshop. All participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Make & Take: Holiday Surprise Balls
Who doesn't love a surprise?! Stop by any time between 1pm-3pm to make a fun last-minute stocking stuffer or party favor at this FREE Make & Take in our community space (opposite the registers). No need to RSVP- just show up ready to create!
Workshop: 'Elf' Craft & Quiz BYOB Party!
You’re invited to a Craft & Quiz Party to celebrate the Elf movie! Get ready for Santa by making decorations for your home, like Buddy the Elf at Gimbels department store. Prove that you’ve been studying the Code of Elves with a movie trivia quiz. Costumes are encouraged!
This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) Workshop. All participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Join us for a fun and creative evening crafting unique steam punk ornaments! You'll learn to take a hodgepodge of random, found objects, and turn them into a cohesive, interesting hanging ornament! Use them to put on your tree, or just keep them up all year 'round.

Workshop: Kids Holiday Gift Making
This holiday gift making workshop is perfect for children of all ages who love crafts and want to surprise their family and friends with heartfelt, one-of-a-kind presents. Our instructor will guide attendees through various projects, providing them with the support they need to explore their creativity and express their inner artist. Each child will walk away with at least 3 gifts that are ready to be wrapped and given away!
This workshop is intended for those ages 4-15 years old. Minors do not have to be accompanied by an adult.
Workshop: 3D Holiday Ornaments
Participants will learn how to make 3-D stars (that are perfect for any holiday) and will leave with a handful of stars to enjoy at home. You can hang them on your Christmas tree or put several of them in a vase or basket as a centerpiece! Participants will also have free time during the workshop to experiment new ways to use foiled paper, with the help of the expert instructor!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+ (yes, adults, too!).
Make & Take: Holiday Gift Tags
Stop by our community space (opposite the registers) any time between 1pm-3pm for a quick and free craft! Our talented volunteer, Audrey (she/her), will be there with materials to help you make some expert gift tags for the upcoming holiday season! No need to RSVP- just show up ready to create!
Workshop: Lotería Ornaments
In this workshop, Minerva will be bringing a small piece of her culture to ACR and teaching the basics of piñata making! Participants will go home with 6 colorful Lotería ornaments, perfect for their Christmas tree (or just hanging around the house year-round).
This workshop is appropriate for ages 13+ only.
