Spotlighting Our 2026 Spring Reuse Art Market Supporting Artists
Every month, we highlight one of the amazing artists in our reuse community.
This month, ACR has the privilege of spotlighting not one, but four(!) fantastic reuse artists: Aileen Chen of Revision Goods, Catherine Gonzales of ATX Craft Club, Sara Rogers-Smith of Art by SRSDesigns, and Kenneth Ziegler of Ziggy’s Customs. These four artists have lent their generous support to our upcoming Spring Reuse Art Market on March 28 and 29, 2026, which has allowed ACR to continue to keep the market as accessible as possible to our crafting and vendor community. They will each have a booth at the market both days, so be sure to check out their wares and chat with them about their passion for reuse and the artistry behind their work.
Read on to learn more about each of these artists and get a sneak peek at some of the goods they’ll have available for sale at the market.
Aileen Chen of Revision Goods
Revision Goods is a sustainable home goods brand transforming premium discarded materials into beautifully designed, functional objects. Born from a desire to reconcile environmental responsibility with a love of aesthetic living, they offer thoughtful alternatives to the take-make-waste cycle. Every piece helps reimagine what home can look like—elevated, expressive, and kinder to the planet. Products include home decor items like pillow covers, table runners, organizer baskets, and valet trays, as well as functional personal items like toiletry bags and pouches.
All of their products are made with 75-100% renewed premium materials, transforming them into beautiful, functional goods. Most of these materials include upholstery fabric, interior design fabric samples, deadstock fabric, fabric remnants, leather remnants, and rivets and other items sourced from places like Austin Creative Reuse, interior design firms and textile mills.

Catherine Gonzales of ATX Craft Club
Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley, Catherine learned various crafting (embroidery, sewing, etc.) through her mother and grandmothers. While they often created out of necessity, seeing them repurpose materials they had (old t-shirts, orange juice cans, etc) to create blankets, decor, costumes and many other things impacted Catherine greatly as a crafter. Seeing materials used in new and creative ways outside of their original purpose gave her freedom in her own crafting to think outside the box and cemented her use of new and reclaimed materials in all of her projects.
Over 20 crafting years later, ATX Craft Club was born alongside her mom where the pair utilize new and reclaimed materials, patterns, techniques to create items that are fun, cozy and can be enjoyed for years to come. At the Spring Reuse Art Market they will sell their signature felt items including bookmarks, ornaments, keychains, banners, candle/penny rug mats, sewing books, pin cushions and a few new items they're excited to add including felt jewelry/hair accessories.
They take pride in their sustainable approach and "Craft Circle of Life" that ensures that at least 50% of all materials, tools and packaging used are secondhand and reclaimed. There are various tools and patterns that have been with Catherine for over 20 years that she still uses today in their current product items. They frequently source materials from Austin Creative Reuse and the items they will sell at the Spring Reuse Art Market Market will include 50% or more reclaimed materials including: felt material, beads, sequins, thread, patterns, etc.
Sara is the core volunteer for beads and findings at ACR and has been a vendor at three previous ACR markets. Since the spring of 2024, she has been using reused materials to create sparkling and vibrant beaded embroidery art pieces. Her beaded embroidery art has spiraled into other beading projects like repurposing vintage wooden spools, a DIY flower bouquet station, beaded flower pot decorations, miniatures, and more. She plans to have a variety of bead and fabric items at the market but will be showcasing her beaded embroidery art and fabric twine projects specifically. She is also hoping to unveil her newest beaded creations - hummingbird swings - if she can finish them all before the market.
The majority of materials used in her art and other items have been sourced from reuse centers or were materials leftover from other projects. She makes every effort to not purchase new materials unless she is unable to find it from another source. She has sourced fabric, beads, hoops, sequins, glass jars and wire from ACR.

Kenneth Ziegler of Ziggy’s Customs
Kenneth makes yard art using ceiling fan blades and table legs, puts custom wood handles on knives, and makes fire starters and leather pouches. Ceiling fan blades and table legs or bed posts are transformed by him into “Texas-sized” dragonfly and bumblebee yard art and he uses repurposed wood to make knife handles, used wax, saw dust, and egg cartons to make fire starters, and leather to make pouches.
Ziggy’s Customs does not have a website or social media, so check out his work in-person at the market or in our center as part of ACR’s Reuse Art Gallery, which features one of Kenneth’s bumblebees floating above the craft wood section.
