nonprofits & community groups!
Our Bulk Order program provides educators, nonprofits, and community groups with free* materials.
By redistributing surplus materials in high volumes, we help keep usable materials out of the landfill while making them accessible to those who need them most. It’s a simple way to save money, reduce waste, and create more with less.
*We charge a $10 order fulfillment fee to help offset the administrative costs of this program.
How To Receive Materials
Submit the request form.
We will reach out within 3 business days of submission to confirm item availability. You will then be asked to pay the $10 Bulk Order Fee.
Your order will be fulfilled after your payment is received. You will be notified when it is ready for pick up at ACR, and it will be held for 1 week. Shipping/delivery not available.

This program is designed to support educators, nonprofits, and community groups. “Community groups” include anyone organizing free community events or providing free services or support. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, feel free to reach out to us at Shop@AustinCreativeReuse.org.

We offer materials that we have in excess as a way to thoughtfully manage our ever-changing inventory. Items are bundled in bulk (for example, an HEB bag of fabric samples or a gallon bag of wine corks). When submitting a request, simply indicate how many bundles you’d like. Availability is not guaranteed, and we may not be able to fulfill every item or quantity requested.

Generally no. Not all materials available for sale in our center are offered through the Bulk Order program. If you’re looking for something not listed, we may still have it available for purchase in our center.

There’s no formal limit on request frequency or size. That said, we encourage conscious consumption - please request only what you realistically need for your upcoming project or event.

While the materials themselves are free, we charge a $10 fee per order to help support the time and resources required to run the program. This fee also reflects one of our core values: “Every object has impact.” All materials carry social, economic, and environmental value - nothing is truly free.
Bulk Orders are intended for situations where eligible groups need a large volume of materials, more than what could be purchased in our center for $10. If a request can be fulfilled in-center for less than the bulk order fee, we’ll let you know and encourage you to shop those items directly.

Our team will follow up within 3 business days to let you know what we’re able to fulfill from your request and to provide instructions for paying the $10 bulk order fee. Once payment is received, we’ll begin preparing your order.

You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. Orders can be picked up at time our center is open to the public. When you arrive, check in with staff at the register and a team member will bring your order to you.
Please plan to pick up your order within one week of receiving your pickup notification. Orders not picked up by the deadline will be canceled, and the bulk order fee is non-refundable.

Yes! If you have usable leftover materials, you’re welcome to donate them back to us. Please schedule a donation appointment so we can ensure we are ready to receive them.
