Summer of Service Award - Applications Closed

  • Sign-ups for the Summer of Service Award Program closed on July 31st. However, you can still serve at our community volunteering sessions, or take the dive into becoming a full on Core Volunteer!

  • Upon completion of the program, you will recieve a certificate. You can use this to showcase your dedication to community service on applications and resumes.

  • Partcipants must be 14 years old by the end of the summer.

    To complete the program, participants much complete 30 volunteering hours with ACR between June 1st and August 31st 2024.

  • Volunteers with ACR help sort, pack, and price almost all of our donations! You will get to choose the projects that interest you most, like sorting and bundling sea shells or measuring and rolling fabric.

    You will be able to join scheduled volunteering sessions where a volunteer leader will instruct you on the project, or you can come in on your own schedule and lead yourself through a project based on written directions.

  • The first step is filling out your application (be sure to select “Summer of Service 2024” for the duration. Then, you’ll need to complete your 1 hour in-person orientation. After that you’ll be set to start earning hours!
