Why It’s Fun to Volunteer in the Online Store

Volunteering in our Online Store is a treasure hunt every day — you never know what curious, valuable, or downright odd item will come across your table! You’ll get to learn about fascinating objects, uncover hidden gems, and help them find a new home through our eBay store. It’s a great fit for people who enjoy researching unique finds. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Curiosity and attention to detail

• Knowledge of vintage, collectibles, or specialty items (a plus!)

• Ability to research unusual or unique items online

• Comfortable working independently

• Strong written communication skills for crafting accurate and engaging item descriptions

• Must be a Core Volunteer to work in the Online Store. Sign up here!

What You’ll Do:

Our Online Store handles a wide mix of items ranging from fragile, valuable, vintage, or just plain unusual. After training, your tasks will include:

• Researching unique, collectible, or specialty items (tools, machines, oddities, etc.)

• Turn your research into online Ebay listings

• Packing items safely for shipping

You can choose what you’re comfortable with: just research, research + listing, or the full process including packing for shipping.
