Participants will shop together for the most abstract, unrecognizable, and bizarre materials they can find in ACR's most miscellaneous department. Back in the workshop, our group will arrange those materials into visually satisfying compositions to observe, sketch, and memorialize in brilliant, colorful, still life paintings.
Participants will practice painting from observation and creating dynamic compositions, while at the same time letting go of the pressure to make their finished work look like something recognizable.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only.
