Our 2026 Spring Reuse Art Market Recap
ACR held our sixth annual Spring Reuse Art Market this past weekend, March 28 and 29, 2026, and it was a delightful weekend of art, sustainability, and community! Thank you to all of our vendors, community partners, attendees, staff, board members, and volunteers for making this event such a success and for championing creative reuse in Austin!
Over the course of the weekend, we saw attendance of roughly 1,200 visitors and hosted 96 vendors and five nonprofit community partners. Visitors helped us macro sort fourteen bins of writing utensils on Saturday and test and sort six bins of markers on Sunday in our five-minute volunteering activity to help restock the Materials Mobile for its next school visit (thank you!).
Speaking of volunteering, this event wouldn’t have been possible without the 45 wonderful volunteers who dedicated 195 hours of their time before and during the weekend to making the market run smoothly. From making signage to checking in vendors and community partners to answering attendee questions, these folks were integral to the success of the weekend (thanks y’all!).
New for this year, we were joined by KOOP Radio and their vinyl DJs to set the tone with live sessions throughout the weekend. Back for a second time, Mexcita and Casita’s Cafe food and beverage trucks provided delicious tacos and caffeinated beverages that kept everyone going throughout the weekend.
Also new for this year were four supporting artists, whose generosity allowed us to keep the market as accessible as possible to our community despite rising costs. Big thanks to Aileen Chen of Revision Goods, Catherine Gonzales of ATX Craft Club, Sara Rogers-Smith of Art by SRSDesigns, and Kenneth Ziegler of Ziggy’s Customs for supporting our market and our larger creative reuse community! Check out this blog post to learn more about each of them and their work!
We’ve received a plethora of positive feedback from our community about this market (which we so appreciate!), including:
“I attended one of the biannual reuse markets here today and just have to say—they knock it out of the park every time. Their events coordinator Jillian always picks the most amazing and unique vendors. The creative community here couldn’t be more kind and welcoming.”
The weekend may have just wrapped up, but we’re already looking forward to our next reuse art market in the late fall, so stay tuned for an announcement about that soon! Our newsletter subscribers will be notified first, so make sure you’re signed up for our newsletters if you’d like to be the first to know about upcoming events such as this one.
